Tips for Visiting NWA Pumpkin Patches

  • Bring cash – some smaller farms don’t accept cards.
  • Wear comfortable shoes – you’ll be walking in fields and on hay.
  • Check farm hours – many are only open on weekends or evenings.
  • Bring a wagon or stroller with big wheels – kiddos can tire quickly, and wagons are also great for hauling pumpkins.
  • Dress in layers – mornings can be chilly, but afternoons warm up quickly.
  • Pack snacks and water – many farms have concessions, but lines can get long on busy weekends.
  • Arrive early or late in the day – to avoid the biggest crowds and get the best lighting for photos.
  • Check social media before you go – farms often post live updates about field conditions, special events, or weather-related closures.

Fall in Northwest Arkansas is a season to savor, and there’s no better way to celebrate than with a trip to a pumpkin patch or fall festival. From Bentonville to Fayetteville, there’s a patch for every family and every kind of fall adventure.
